Supplementary Provisions, Article 33Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Act on Mutual Relief System for the Prevention of Bankruptcies of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
第三十三条（中小企業倒産防止共済法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
An application for a mutual aid contract, an application for an increase or decrease in the monthly premium, and any other procedure made before the enforcement of the provisions of the preceding Article under the provisions of the Act on Mutual Relief System for the Prevention of Bankruptcies of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises before amendment by the provisions of that Article are deemed to have been made under the provisions of the Act on Mutual Relief System for the Prevention of Bankruptcies of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises as amended by the provisions of that Article.
前条の規定の施行前に同条の規定による改正前の中小企業倒産防止共済法の規定によってした共済契約の申込み、掛金月額の増加又は減少の申込みその他の手続は、同条の規定による改正後の中小企業倒産防止共済法の規定によってしたものとみなす。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 59Delegation of Other Transitional Measures to Cabinet Order
第五十九条（その他の経過措置の政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary incidental to the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に伴い必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。

「共済契約」
A contract under which a small and medium-sized enterprise (中小企業者) promises to pay premiums (掛金) to the Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN (独立行政法人中小企業基盤整備機構), and the Organization promises that, if a business operator it trades with goes bankrupt (倒産), it will lend it a mutual aid benefit (共済金) as the Act on Mutual Relief System for the Prevention of Bankruptcies of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises provides.
