Only a cablecast that falls under one of the following items is protected under this Act:
有線放送は、次の各号のいずれかに該当するものに限り、この法律による保護を受ける。
a cablecast whose cablecaster is a Japanese national (excluding a cablecast that the cablecaster transmits based on the receipt of a broadcast; the same applies in the following item);
