この法律は、昭和四十九年十月一日から施行する。

この法律の施行前に調停委員会においてした手続及び裁判所がした調停委員の意見の聴取は、この法律による改正後の民事調停法又は家事審判法の規定により調停委員会においてした手続及び裁判所がした民事調停委員又は家事調停委員の意見の聴取とみなす。

この法律の施行前に調停委員、調停の補助をした者又は参与員がした執務に係る旅費、日当及び宿泊料又は止宿料の支給については、なお従前の例による。
