連結子法人（れんけつこほうじん）

In Article 14(1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act Partially Amending the Income Tax Act, etc. (Act No. 8 of 2020), a consolidated subsidiary corporation as defined in Article 2(xii)-7 of the Corporation Tax Act as it stood before that Act amended it: a domestic corporation wholly controlled by a consolidated parent corporation (連結親法人) that, together with it, had the approval of the Commissioner of the National Tax Agency (国税庁長官) under Article 4-2 of the Corporation Tax Act to pay corporation tax with the parent as the taxpayer under the consolidated tax payment system (連結納税).

国等の事務（くにとうのじむ）

In the supplementary provisions of Act No. 87 of 1999, work of the State, of another local government or of another public body that an organ of a local government managed or carried out under an Act (法律) or a Cabinet Order (政令) before that Act comes into effect, which the local government then handles as its own affairs.

第三号施行日（だいさんごうしこうび）

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (iii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 48 of 2023 come into effect — among them its amendments to Articles 7, 17 and 30-45 of this Act — a date set by Cabinet Order (政令) within two years of that Act's promulgation (公布, its official publication).

第一号施行日（だいいちごうしこうび）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Cabinet Order No. 253 of 2010, the date set out in Article 1, item (i) of those supplementary provisions: the day Act No. 79 of 2009, which amended the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and the Special Act on the Immigration Control of, inter alia, those who have lost Japanese Nationality pursuant to the Treaty of Peace with Japan, comes into effect.

Short name for the Act Partially Amending the Family Register Act (Act No. 17 of 2019).

第四号施行日（だいよんごうしこうび）

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (iv) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2026 come into effect — among them its amendments to Articles 63 and 86 of this Act — a date a Cabinet Order (政令) sets within one year of that Act's promulgation (公布, its official publication) on 5 June 2026.

新入管法施行令（しんにゅうかんほうせこうれい）
