第二条（経過措置）
The provisions of the Lost Property Act after the amendment and the provisions of Article 240 of the Civil Code after the amendment under the provisions of the following Article also apply to property of which a finding was made before the effective date of this Act, and to property for which the custodian prescribed in Article 10, paragraph (2) of the Lost Property Act before the amendment (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Lost Property Act") has received delivery under that paragraph or for which the occupant prescribed in that paragraph has received submission under that paragraph, that has not actually been submitted to the chief of a police station at the time of enforcement of this Act under Article 1, paragraph (1) or Article 11, paragraph (1) of the Former Lost Property Act (including the case where these provisions apply mutatis mutandis under Articles 12 and 13 of the Former Lost Property Act; the same applies in the following paragraph).
With respect to property that has actually been submitted to the chief of a police station at the time of enforcement of this Act under Article 1, paragraph (1) or Article 11, paragraph (1) of the Former Lost Property Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律の施行の際現に旧法第一条第一項又は第十一条第一項の規定により警察署長に差し出されている物件については、なお従前の例による。
