Article 68Prohibiting Sick Workers from Working

第六十八条（病者の就業禁止）

An employer, pursuant to Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, must prohibit workers who have contracted communicable diseases and other diseases specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare from working.

事業者は、伝染性の疾病その他の疾病で、厚生労働省令で定めるものにかかつた労働者については、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、その就業を禁止しなければならない。

worker
労働者（ろうどうしゃ）
A worker as defined in Article 9 of the Labor Standards Act — a person, in any occupation, employed at a business or office (事業又は事務所) and paid wages — other than a person employed at a business or office that employs only relatives living with the employer (同居の親族), and a domestic worker (家事使用人).
労働基準法第九条に規定する労働者（同居の親族のみを使用する事業又は事務所に使用される者及び家事使用人を除く。）
