Supplementary Provisions, Article 2 · Preparatory Acts Concerning Certification附則第二条（認証に関する準備行為）

A foreign national who seeks to enter or land in Japan on or after the date on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as "the effective date") and who seeks to receive the certification under Article 4, Article 7-2 (including cases in which it is applied by deeming pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (2) of the Act on Special Provisions for Applications for Landing by Foreign Nationals Possessing a Passport Set Forth in Article 2, Item (v), (b) of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act as amended by the provisions of Article 2 (referred to as the "new Special Act" in paragraph (2), item (ii) of the following Article); hereinafter the same applies in this Article) or Article 15-2 of the Immigration Control Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (excluding the amending provisions set forth in item (ii) of the preceding Article) (hereinafter referred to as the "new Immigration Control Act") may provide information in accordance with the provisions of Article 4, Article 7-2 or Article 15-2 of the new Immigration Control Act even before the effective date.
この法律の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）以後に本邦に入ろうとし、又は上陸しようとする外国人であって、第一条の規定（前条第二号に掲げる改正規定を除く。）による改正後の入管法（以下「新入管法」という。）第四条、第七条の二（第二条の規定による改正後の出入国管理及び難民認定法第二条第五号ロの旅券を所持する外国人の上陸申請の特例に関する法律（次条第二項第二号において「新特例法」という。）第二項の規定によりみなして適用する場合を含む。以下この条において同じ。）又は第十五条の二の認証を受けようとするものは、施行日前においても、新入管法第四条、第七条の二又は第十五条の二の規定の例により情報の提供を行うことができる。
- AddedSupplementary Provisions, Article 2, paragraph (2)
If information has been provided pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Commissioner of the Immigration Services Agency may grant certification in accordance with the provisions of Article 4, Article 7-2 or Article 15-2 and Article 59-2 of the new Immigration Control Act even before the effective date. In this case, on and after the effective date, that certification is deemed to be the certification under Article 4, Article 7-2 or Article 15-2 of the new Immigration Control Act, respectively.
出入国在留管理庁長官は、前項の規定による情報の提供があった場合には、施行日前においても、新入管法第四条、第七条の二又は第十五条の二及び第五十九条の二の規定の例により認証をすることができる。この場合において、当該認証は、施行日以後は、それぞれ新入管法第四条、第七条の二又は第十五条の二の認証とみなす。

A foreign national who provides information in accordance with the provisions of Article 4, Article 7-2 or Article 15-2 of the new Immigration Control Act pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (1) and a foreign national who receives certification in accordance with the provisions of Article 7-2 or Article 15-2 of the new Immigration Control Act pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph must pay a fee in accordance with the provisions of Article 67-3 of the new Immigration Control Act.
第一項の規定により新入管法第四条、第七条の二又は第十五条の二の規定の例による情報の提供を行う外国人及び前項の規定により新入管法第七条の二又は第十五条の二の規定の例による認証を受ける外国人は、新入管法第六十七条の三の規定の例により手数料を納付しなければならない。
