The validity period of the permission referred to in Article 3, paragraph (1) is two years from the date of the permission.
第三条第一項の許可の有効期間は、当該許可の日から起算して二年とする。
When the drilling construction related to the permission referred to in Article 3, paragraph (1) is not expected to be completed within the validity period of the permission due to disasters or other unavoidable circumstances, the prefectural governor may renew the validity period once for up to two years, upon application by the person that obtained the permission, pursuant to the provisions of the Order of the Ministry of the Environment.
都道府県知事は、第三条第一項の許可に係る掘削の工事が災害その他やむを得ない理由により当該許可の有効期間内に完了しないと見込まれるときは、環境省令で定めるところにより、当該許可を受けた者の申請により、一回に限り、二年を限度としてその有効期間を更新することができる。
