労働審判(ろうどうしんぱん)

The decision made in labor tribunal proceedings (労働審判手続) when mediation does not resolve an individual civil labor dispute (個別労働関係民事紛争): the decision needed to settle the dispute in a way that fits the actual circumstances of the case while taking account of the parties' rights and obligations.

労働審判手続(ろうどうしんぱんてつづき)

The court procedure this Act sets up in which, on a party's petition, a panel made up of judges and people with expert knowledge and experience of labor relations hears an individual civil labor dispute (個別労働関係民事紛争), tries mediation where a settlement looks possible, and otherwise makes a labor tribunal decision (労働審判).

labor tribunal case

労働審判事件(ろうどうしんぱんじけん)

A case brought in labor tribunal proceedings (労働審判手続). It is heard by a district court (地方裁判所): the one for the place of the other party's domicile, residence, business office or office, the one for the place of that employer's workplace where the worker is working or last worked, or one the parties agree on; where the other party has no domicile, residence or office in Japan, or none is known, Article 2, paragraphs (2) to (4) name further courts.
