Act on Ensuring Proper Transactions Involving Specified Entrusted Business Operators

An enterprise, for its own business, entrusting another enterprise with manufacturing goods (including processing them), creating an information-based product (情報成果物), or providing services, including having the other enterprise provide services to the entrusting enterprise itself.
次に掲げる行為
業務委託事業者
Any enterprise that makes a business entrustment (業務委託) to a specified entrusted business operator (特定受託事業者).
特定受託事業者に業務委託をする事業者
An enterprise on the receiving end of a business entrustment (業務委託) that is either an individual who employs no employees, or a corporation that has no officers other than a single representative and employs no employees.
業務委託の相手方である事業者であって、次の各号のいずれかに該当するもの
An entrusting business operator (業務委託事業者) that is either an individual who employs employees, or a corporation that has two or more officers or employs employees.
業務委託事業者であって、次の各号のいずれかに該当するもの
The price an entrusting business operator (業務委託事業者) must pay a specified entrusted business operator (特定受託事業者) for what the latter delivers under a business entrustment (業務委託), or, where the entrustment is for services, for providing those services.
業務委託事業者が業務委託をした場合に特定受託事業者の給付（第三項第二号に該当する業務委託をした場合にあっては、当該役務の提供をすること。第五条第一項第一号及び第三号並びに第八条第三項及び第四項を除き、以下同じ。）に対し支払うべき代金
A specified entrusted business operator (特定受託事業者) who is an individual, or the representative of a specified entrusted business operator that is a corporation.
特定受託事業者である前項第一号に掲げる個人及び特定受託事業者である同項第二号に掲げる法人の代表者
A business entrustment (業務委託) by a specified entrusting business operator (特定業務委託事業者) that runs for at least the period a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, including one that reaches that period through renewal of its contract.
A computer program; a film, broadcast program or other work made up of images or sound; a work made up of letters, figures or symbols, alone, combined or with colours; or a similar thing a Cabinet Order (政令) specifies, as a thing whose creation can be entrusted under a business entrustment (業務委託).
次に掲げるもの
A way of using an electronic data processing system or other information and communications technology, of a kind the Rules of the Fair Trade Commission (公正取引委員会規則) set, by which the terms of a business entrustment (業務委託) can be given to a specified entrusted business operator (特定受託事業者) instead of in writing.
電子情報処理組織を使用する方法その他の情報通信の技術を利用する方法であって公正取引委員会規則で定めるもの
The date on which the first entrusting business operator (元委託者) is to pay the specified entrusting business operator (特定業務委託事業者) for the business it entrusted to it (元委託業務).
Business that another enterprise, the first entrusting business operator (元委託者), entrusted to a specified entrusting business operator (特定業務委託事業者), all or part of which that operator then entrusts on to a specified entrusted business operator (特定受託事業者).
The other enterprise that first entrusted business to a specified entrusting business operator (特定業務委託事業者), where that operator then entrusts all or part of the business on to a specified entrusted business operator (特定受託事業者).
Advertisements in newspapers, magazines or other publications, the posting or handing out of documents, and other means a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Order (厚生労働省令) sets, used by a specified entrusting business operator (特定業務委託事業者) to give out information recruiting specified entrusted business operators (特定受託事業者).
Pregnancy, childbirth, childcare or nursing care, taken together as the circumstances that Article 13 asks a specified entrusting business operator (特定業務委託事業者), on request, to take into account so that a specified entrusted business operator (特定受託事業者) can keep doing the entrusted work alongside them.
