Lawful findings of fact in a prior instance judgment are binding on the final appellate court.

If a final appeal under the provisions of Article 311, paragraph (2) is filed, the final appellate court may not reverse the prior instance judgment on the grounds that the findings of fact in the judgment are in violation of the law.
