Supplementary Provisions, Article 3

①With regard to the application of Article 50, paragraph (2) and Article 54, paragraph (2) of the New Act to an employer whose number of workers employed (meaning workers prescribed in Article 43, paragraph (1) of the Act to Facilitate the Employment of Persons with Disabilities as amended by the provisions of Article 3 (hereinafter referred to in this Article as the "New Act")) is regularly 101 or more and 200 or less, until the day on which five years have elapsed from the date of enforcement of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions, the phrase "the amount provided for by Cabinet Order" in Article 50, paragraph (2) and Article 54, paragraph (2) of the New Act is deemed to be replaced with "an amount equal to or less than the amount provided for by Cabinet Order that is specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare".

②The provisions of Article 43, paragraph (8) of the New Act apply mutatis mutandis to the calculation of the number of workers employed referred to in the preceding paragraph.
