Supplementary Provisions, Article 6, paragraph (1)
法務大臣は、第三号施行日以後に本邦に上陸しようとする外国人であって改正入管法別表第一の二の表の技能実習の項の下欄第一号イ又はロに掲げる活動を行おうとするものから、あらかじめ申請があったときは、法務省令で定めるところにより、同日前に、当該外国人に対し、技能実習の在留資格（同表の技能実習の項の下欄第一号イ又はロに係るものに限る。）に係る在留資格認定証明書を交付することができる。
If an advance application is filed by a foreign national who seeks to land in Japan on or after the Item (iii) Effective Date and who seeks to engage in the activities set forth in item (i), sub-item (a) or (b) in the right-hand column under "Technical Intern Training" of Appended Table I (2) of the Amended Immigration Control Act, the Minister of Justice may, pursuant to the provisions of Ministry of Justice Order, issue to that foreign national, before that date, a certificate of eligibility for the status of residence of "Technical Intern Training" (limited to the status pertaining to item (i), sub-item (a) or (b) in the right-hand column under "Technical Intern Training" of that Table).
