第七条（役員等のために締結される保険契約に関する経過措置）

この法律の施行前に株式会社と保険者との間で締結された保険契約のうち役員等（旧法第四百二十三条第一項に規定する役員等をいう。以下この条において同じ。）がその職務の執行に関し責任を負うこと又は当該責任の追及に係る請求を受けることによって生ずることのある損害を保険者が塡補することを約するものであって、役員等を被保険者とするものについては、新法第四百三十条の三の規定は、適用しない。
The provisions of Article 430-3 of the new Act do not apply to an insurance policy concluded between a stock company and an insurer before this Act comes into effect under which the insurer promises to pay compensation for damage that may arise from officers, etc. (meaning the officers, etc. prescribed in Article 423, paragraph (1) of the former Act; hereinafter the same applies in this Article) bearing liability in relation to the execution of their duties or receiving a demand pursuing that liability, and under which officers, etc. are the insureds.
