Supplementary Provisions
The law as Act Partially Amending the Act on Strengthening Industrial Competitiveness, etc. to Achieve the Sustainable Development of Corporate Business Activities in Light of Changes in Economic and Social Conditions (Act No. 29 of 2026) leaves it, with the words it changes marked.

Supplementary Provisions, Article 1, paragraph (1)（施行期日）Effective DateAdded
This Act comes into effect on the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding three months from the day of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set out in the following items come into effect on the respective dates specified in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して三月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

Articles 2 and 3 (excluding the amending provisions set out in the preceding item) and Articles 3, 8, 9 (limited to the provision amending Article 6, paragraph (9) of the Act on the Promotion of Business Activities by Food, etc. Business Operators and Ensuring Proper Transactions of Food, etc. for Realizing a Sustainable Supply of Food, etc. (Act No. 59 of 1991)), 11, 12, 14 and 15 (limited to the provision amending Article 20-2, paragraph (1) of the National Strategic Special Zones Act (Act No. 107 of 2013)) of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the day of promulgation.
