廃止法（はいしほう）

Short name, in Article 71-4(1)(i), for Act No. 146 of 2002, the 2002 law abolishing the law on the Japan Small and Medium Enterprise Corporation (中小企業総合事業団法) and the law on machinery credit insurance (機械類信用保険法), among other things.

事業団（じぎょうだん）

The Transportation Facilities Development Corporation (運輸施設整備事業団) as it existed before it was dissolved under Article 3, paragraph 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act on the Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Technology Agency, Independent Administrative Agency, as used in Article 84-3, paragraph 4 on registration of rights that passed from the Shinkansen Railway Holding Corporation (新幹線鉄道保有機構) through it to that Agency.

指定期間（していきかん）

The period from the date set in Article 1, item (i) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the National Strategic Special Zones Act to 31 March 2028 within which the implementing corporation (実施法人) must acquire, make or build the specified machinery, etc. (特定機械装置等) in a National Strategic Special Zone for Article 42-10.

事業団法（じぎょうだんほう）

Short name, in Article 84-3, for the Transportation Facilities Development Corporation Act (運輸施設整備事業団法, Act No. 83 of 1997) as it stood before it was repealed under Article 14 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act on the Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Technology Agency, Independent Administrative Agency.

旅客会社等（りょかくがいしゃとう）

A passenger railway company as defined in Article 1, paragraph (1) of the Act on Passenger Railway Companies and Japan Freight Railway Company, or a new company as referred to in Article 2, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the 2001 Act amending that Act (Act No. 61 of 2001) or of the Act Partially Amending the Act on Passenger Railway Companies and Japan Freight Railway Company (Act No. 36 of 2015).

旧債務等処理法（きゅうさいむとうしょりほう）

In Article 349-3, paragraph 18, the Act on Treatment of Debt, etc. of JNR Settlement Corporation as it stood before Article 16 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act on the Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Technology Agency, Independent Administrative Agency amended it.

旧効力地共済法（きゅうこうりょくちきょうさいほう）

The Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act as it stood before Article 3 of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. to Unify, etc. the Employees' Pension Systems (Act No. 63 of 2012) amended it, as kept in force by Article 61, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則).

旧効力私学共済法（きゅうこうりょくしがくきょうさいほう）

The Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act as it stood before Article 4 of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. to Unify, etc. the Employees' Pension Systems (Act No. 63 of 2012) amended it, as kept in force by Article 79 of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則).

旧中小企業事業団（きゅうちゅうしょうきぎょうじぎょうだん）

The small and medium enterprise corporation (中小企業事業団) as it was before it was dissolved under Article 7, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the law on the comprehensive small and medium enterprise corporation (中小企業総合事業団法, Act No. 19 of 1999).

旧国会議員互助年金法（きゅうこっかいぎいんごじょねんきんほう）

In Article 4, paragraph (1), item (xviii), the law on mutual aid pensions for members of the Diet (国会議員互助年金法, Act No. 70 of 1958) as it stood before Act No. 1 of 2006 abolished it, as kept in force for those who had retired by Article 2, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則).

旧中小企業総合事業団（きゅうちゅうしょうきぎょうそうごうじぎょうだん）

The comprehensive small and medium enterprise corporation (中小企業総合事業団) as it was before it was dissolved under Article 2, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 146 of 2002 (中小企業総合事業団法及び機械類信用保険法の廃止等に関する法律), which these provisions call the abolition Act (廃止法).

みなし特別永住者証明書（みなしとくべつえいじゅうしゃしょうめいしょ）

An alien registration certificate (外国人登録証明書) under the Alien Registration Act as it stood before Article 4 of the 2009 Act (Act No. 79 of 2009) abolished it, which Article 28, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則) treats as a special permanent resident certificate (特別永住者証明書).

昭和五十三年改正訓練規則（しょうわごじゅうさんねんかいせいくんれんきそく）

The Ministry of Labour Order (労働省令) No. 37 of 1978 that partly amended the enforcement rules for vocational training (職業訓練法施行規則); Article 2, paragraph (2) of its supplementary provisions allows a training period to be shortened.

旧日本国有鉄道清算事業団（きゅうにほんこくゆうてつどうせいさんじぎょうだん）

The Japanese National Railways Settlement Corporation (日本国有鉄道清算事業団) as it was before it was dissolved under Article 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act on Treatment of Debt, etc. of JNR Settlement Corporation.

旧昭和二十七年法律第百二十六号（きゅうしょうわにじゅうしちねんほうりつだいひゃくにじゅうろくごう）

The Act on Measures for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Orders Issued pursuant to the "Imperial Ordinance on Orders Issued Incidental to Acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration" (Act No. 126 of 1952) as it stood before Article 10 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Special Act on the Immigration Control of, inter alia, those who have lost Japanese Nationality pursuant to the Treaty of Peace with Japan (Act No. 71 of 1991) amended it.

改正前厚生年金保険法（かいせいまえこうせいねんきんほけんほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2013, the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as it stood before Article 1 of that Act amended it.

第一条の規定による改正前の厚生年金保険法

全額（ぜんがく）

An entry in the tables used to work out the 1965 and 1966 tax prepayment calculation base (予定納税基準額) — Appended Table 1 of the Income Tax Act's own supplementary provisions and Appended Table 3 of those of Act No. 31 of 1966 — meaning that the amount to deduct is the whole of the amount in item 1 of the article the table serves (Article 14, paragraph (1) and Article 5, paragraph (1) respectively), broadly the previous year's income tax less the tax withheld at source on it, so that no prepayment base is left.

附則第五条第一項第一号に掲げる金額

類似土地（るいじとち）

Land similar to a given piece of land that existed on the assessment date (賦課期日) of the fiscal year before the one concerned, whose tax base for that previous year is used to work out the comparable tax base (比準課税標準額) of the given land for the fixed asset tax (固定資産税) and the city planning tax (都市計画税).

改正前確定給付企業年金法（かいせいまえかくていきゅうふきぎょうねんきんほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2013, the Defined-Benefit Corporate Pension Act as it stood before Article 2 of Act No. 63 of 2013 amended it.

第二条の規定による改正前の確定給付企業年金法

設立事業所（せつりつじぎょうしょ）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2013, an establishing place of business as defined in Article 117, paragraph (3) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as it stood before that Act, kept in force by Article 5, paragraph (1) of those supplementary provisions; Article 12 speaks of those of a voluntary dissolution fund (自主解散型基金).

附則第五条第一項の規定によりなおその効力を有するものとされた改正前厚生年金保険法第百十七条第三項に規定する設立事業所
