The provisions of Article 5, paragraphs (1) and (2) of the Civil Code and of Article 9, Article 13, and Article 17 of that Code, as well as the provisions of Article 31 of the Code of Civil Procedure and of Article 32, paragraph (1) (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 40, paragraph (4) of that Code) and Article 32, paragraph (2) of that Code do not apply to procedural acts in personal status litigation proceedings.
人事訴訟の訴訟手続における訴訟行為については、民法第五条第一項及び第二項、第九条、第十三条並びに第十七条並びに民事訴訟法第三十一条並びに第三十二条第一項（同法第四十条第四項において準用する場合を含む。）及び第二項の規定は、適用しない。
