A person that fails to appear, fails to submit a statement, fails to submit a report or submits a false statement or report, or fails to perform a diagnosis or other investigation in violation of the actions pursuant to the provisions of Article 194, paragraph (1), is fined an amount not to exceed 200,000 yen, however, provided that this provision does not apply to an applicant of procedures of an examination conducted by a Certification Committee for Insurance, a Municipality which is notified pursuant to the provisions of Article 193, or other interested person.
