Each amendment that changed this provision, and each that will, oldest first. Each is shown against the wording just before it; where an amendment gives the provision another number, it is followed under the new one. Read it as it stands today

The consent referred to in the preceding paragraph or the revocation of the consent must be made in writing, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
前項の承諾又はその撤回は、当事者間に別段の合意がない限り、書面でしなければならない。
