第三十六条
Municipalities existing on the date of promulgation of this Act (excluding municipalities that cease to exist due to the creation, abolition, division or merger of municipalities during the period after the date of promulgation of this Act until the date on which a cross-regional federation is established pursuant to the provisions of this paragraph; hereinafter in this Article referred to as "existing municipalities") are to establish, in order to prepare for the enforcement of the Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act, by the last day of fiscal year 2006, for each area of a prefecture, a cross-regional federation that all existing municipalities within that area join.
この法律の公布の日に現に存する市町村（この法律の公布の日後この項の規定により広域連合を設ける日までの間に廃置分合により消滅した市町村を除く。以下この条において「現存市町村」という。）は、高齢者医療確保法の施行の準備のため、平成十八年度の末日までに、都道府県の区域ごとに当該区域内のすべての現存市町村が加入する広域連合を設けるものとする。
Municipalities, other than existing municipalities, that have not joined the cross-regional federation referred to in the preceding paragraph by the last day of fiscal year 2006 are to join the cross-regional federation referred to in that paragraph promptly after that day.
