第三条
The government is to strive to research methods of evaluating the quality of medical care and other services that the elderly receive at medical institutions providing services covered by health insurance, etc. prescribed in Article 25, paragraph (3) of the Act on Health and Medical Services for the Elderly and at health care facilities for the elderly prescribed in Article 6, paragraph (4) of that Act, so that appropriate medical care suited to the physical and mental characteristics of the elderly is provided, and is to review the way in which the amount of expenses is calculated, such as the comprehensive calculation of the amount of expenses required for medical care provided pursuant to the provisions of Article 25 of that Act, and take required measures based on the results.
政府は、老人の心身の特性に応じた適切な医療が行われるよう、老人が老人保健法第二十五条第三項に規定する保険医療機関等及び同法第六条第四項に規定する老人保健施設について受ける医療その他のサービスの質に関する評価方法の研究に努めるとともに、同法第二十五条の規定により行われる医療に要する費用の額の包括的な算定等当該費用の額の算定の在り方について検討を行い、その結果に基づいて所要の措置を講ずるものとする。
