Supplementary Provisions, Article 8Handover of Affairs

第八条（事務の引継ぎ）

At the time this Act comes into effect, the Employment Promotion Corporation is to hand over its affairs relating to the operations under the former law to the Minister of Labour (or, in the case where the new Association is to be made to conduct the work of setting up and running the vocational centers pursuant to Article 9-10, paragraph (1) of the New Act, to the new Association).

事業団は、この法律の施行の時に、旧法業務に関する事務を労働大臣（新法第九条の十第一項の規定により新協会に職業センターの設置運営業務を行わせる場合にあつては、新協会）に引き継ぐものとする。

Employment Promotion Corporation
事業団（じぎょうだん）
The Employment Promotion Corporation (雇用促進事業団), as the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 41 of 1987 name it where they treat an amount the Minister of Labour (労働大臣) fixes, as the funds the Government (政府) had invested in it for work it was to carry out under Article 19, paragraph (1) of the Act that set it up (雇用促進事業団法, Act No. 116 of 1961) as it stood before Article 21 of those supplementary provisions amended it, as invested in the Japan association for promoting the employment of persons with disabilities (日本障害者雇用促進協会) when that Act comes into effect, where that association already exists then and is made to set up and run the vocational centres.

旧法業務（きゅうほうぎょうむ）
In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 41 of 1987, work corresponding to the work of setting up and running the vocational centers (職業センターの設置運営業務) that the Employment Promotion Corporation (雇用促進事業団) had carried out under Article 19, paragraph (1) of Act No. 116 of 1961 (雇用促進事業団法, the law on the Employment Promotion Corporation), as it stood before Article 21 of those supplementary provisions amended it.
