Supplementary Provisions, Article 10, paragraph (1)
第二条改正後入管法第五十五条の十八の規定は、この法律の施行の際現に第二条改正後入管法第二条第十六号に規定する入国者収容所等に収容されている被収容者（第二条改正後入管法第五十五条の四第一項に規定する被収容者をいう。以下この条において同じ。）についても、適用する。この場合において、第二条改正後入管法第五十五条の十八第一項中「その入国者収容所等における収容の開始に際し」とあるのは、「出入国管理及び難民認定法及び日本国との平和条約に基づき日本の国籍を離脱した者等の出入国管理に関する特例法の一部を改正する法律（令和五年法律第五十六号）の施行後速やかに」とする。
The provisions of Article 55-18 of the Immigration Control Act as amended by Article 2 also apply to detainees (meaning detainees prescribed in Article 55-4, paragraph (1) of the Immigration Control Act as amended by Article 2; hereinafter the same applies in this Article) who are actually detained in an immigration detention center, etc. prescribed in Article 2, item (xvi) of the Immigration Control Act as amended by Article 2 at the time this Act comes into effect. In this case, the phrase "upon the commencement of detention at the immigration detention center, etc." in Article 55-18, paragraph (1) of the Immigration Control Act as amended by Article 2 is deemed to be replaced with "promptly after the Act Partially Amending the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and the Special Act on the Immigration Control of, Inter Alia, Those Who Have Lost Japanese Nationality Pursuant to the Treaty of Peace with Japan (Act No. 56 of 2023) comes into effect".
