Supplementary Provisions, Article 19, paragraph (1)
附則第十三条第六項、第十五条第四項若しくは第十六条第三項の規定により交付される在留カードの受領又は附則第十五条第三項若しくは第十六条第一項の規定による申請は地方入国管理局に、附則第十七条第一項若しくは前条第一項の規定による届出又は附則第十七条第二項及び前条第二項において準用する新入管法第十九条の七第二項の規定により返還される在留カードの受領は住居地の市町村の事務所に、それぞれ自ら出頭して行わなければならない。
The receipt of a residence card issued pursuant to the provisions of Article 13, paragraph (6), Article 15, paragraph (4) or Article 16, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions or an application pursuant to the provisions of Article 15, paragraph (3) or Article 16, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions must be made by appearing in person at a regional immigration bureau, and a notification pursuant to the provisions of Article 17, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions or paragraph (1) of the preceding Article or the receipt of a residence card returned pursuant to the provisions of Article 19-7, paragraph (2) of the New Immigration Control Act as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 17, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions and paragraph (2) of the preceding Article must be made by appearing in person at the municipal office of the place of residence, respectively.
