Supplementary Provisions, Article 4, paragraph (1)
この法律の施行の際現に旧会社法第二条第十五号に規定する社外取締役又は同条第十六号に規定する社外監査役を置く株式会社の社外取締役又は社外監査役については、この法律の施行後最初に終了する事業年度に関する定時株主総会の終結の時までは、新会社法第二条第十五号又は第十六号の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
With regard to the outside directors or outside company auditors of a stock company that has outside directors prescribed in Article 2, item (xv) of the former Companies Act or outside company auditors prescribed in item (xvi) of that Article at the time this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern until the conclusion of the annual shareholders meeting for the first business year ending after this Act comes into effect, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 2, item (xv) or (xvi) of the new Companies Act.
