Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Employment Security Act

①A person who, at the time this Act comes into effect, has actually obtained the license under the proviso to Article 32, paragraph (1) of the Employment Security Act prior to amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Employment Security Act") is deemed, on the day this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"), to be a person who has obtained the license under Article 30, paragraph (1) of the Employment Security Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Employment Security Act"), and the provisions of the New Employment Security Act apply to that person. In this case, the phrase "three years" in Article 32-6, paragraph (1) of the New Employment Security Act is deemed to be replaced with "one year less the portion, after excluding the period prior to the enforcement of the Employment Security Act, etc. Amendment Act, of the validity period of the license under the proviso to Article 32, paragraph (1) prior to amendment by the provisions of Article 1 of the Act Partially Amending the Employment Security Act, etc. (Act No. 85 of 1999; hereinafter referred to as the "Employment Security Act, etc. Amendment Act"), or of the validity period of the license renewed pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (8) of that Article".
