Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date

一The provisions amending the table of contents, amending Article 1, adding one Article after Article 8, and amending Article 11, Article 12, paragraph (1) and Article 26; the provision amending Article 27 (excluding the provision amending item (i) of that Article (limited to the part relating to "(hereinafter referred to as the 'notification of moving in')") and the provision amending item (ii) of that Article (limited to the part replacing "Article 23 of the Act, Article 24 of the Act" with "a notification under the provisions of Article 23 of the Act (hereinafter referred to as the 'notification of change of address'), notification of moving out" and adding "(referred to as the 'notification of household change' in item (ii) of the following Article and item (ii) of Article 27-3)" below "notification")); the provision amending Article 27-2 (excluding the provision amending item (i) of that Article (limited to the part replacing "a notification under the provisions of Article 22 of the Act" with "notification of moving in") and the provision amending item (ii) of that Article (limited to the part replacing "a notification under the provisions of Articles 23, 24 and 25 of the Act" with "notification of change of address, notification of moving out and notification of household change")); the provision amending Article 27-3 (limited to the part relating to item (i) of that Article (limited to the part relating to a notification under the provisions of Articles 30-46 and 30-47 of the Act) and the part relating to item (iii) of that Article); the provision amending Article 28 (excluding the provision amending item (i) of that Article (limited to the part relating to notification of moving in) and the provision amending item (ii) of that Article); the provision amending the caption of Article 29; the provision amending Article 30-21, item (v) (limited to the part replacing "or" with ", when the relevant certificate of residence is deleted pursuant to the provisions of Article 8-2, or"); the provision adding one Chapter after Chapter IV-2; the provision amending Article 31, paragraph (1); the provision adding the following after the row for Article 30-44, paragraph (6) in the table of paragraph (2) of that Article (limited to the part relating to the row for Article 30-50 in that table); the provision amending Article 32, paragraph (1); and the provision adding the following to the table of paragraph (2) of that Article (excluding the part relating to the row for Article 30-22 in that table) and the provision amending Article 34, paragraph (1); and the provisions of Articles 8 to 10 and Article 13 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and the Special Act on the Immigration Control of, inter alia, those who have lost Japanese Nationality pursuant to the Treaty of Peace with Japan, and Other Matters (Act No. 79 of 2009; hereinafter referred to as the "Immigration Control Act Amendment Act").
