Supplementary Provisions, Article 36Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People
第三十六条（高齢者の医療の確保に関する法律の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The provisions of Article 55, paragraph (1), item (v) of the New Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act (limited to the part pertaining to moving in) apply to a person insured for old-old medical care who is found to have changed their address to the place where a facility that falls under a specified facility set forth in that item is located by moving into that facility on or after the item (iii) Effective Date, and who is found to have had an address within the area of an Association of Medical Care Systems for the Elderly Aged 75 and older other than the Association of Medical Care Systems for the Elderly Aged 75 and older in which that facility is located when moving into that facility, and the provisions then in force continue to govern a person who is found to have changed their address to the place where that facility is located by moving into that facility before the item (iii) Effective Date.
新高齢者医療確保法第五十五条第一項第五号の規定（入居に係る部分に限る。）は、第三号施行日以後に同号に掲げる特定施設に該当する施設に入居をすることにより当該施設の所在する場所に住所を変更したと認められる後期高齢者医療の被保険者であって、当該施設に入居をした際、当該施設が所在する後期高齢者医療広域連合以外の後期高齢者医療広域連合の区域内に住所を有していたと認められるものについて適用し、第三号施行日前に当該施設に入居をすることにより当該施設の所在する場所に住所を変更したと認められる者については、なお従前の例による。
