第三条（医療保険制度等の抜本改革）
With regard to the medical insurance system, etc., following the measures to be taken in fiscal year 2000, a review is to be conducted with a view to carrying out fundamental reform, taking into account trends in medical expenses after the enforcement of this Act, the financial situation of medical insurance, changes in socioeconomic conditions, etc., and required measures are to be taken based on the results.
医療保険制度等については、平成十二年度に講ぜられる措置に引き続き、この法律の施行後における医療費の動向、医療保険の財政状況、社会経済情勢の変化等を勘案し、抜本的な改革を行うための検討を行い、その結果に基づいて所要の措置が講ぜられるものとする。
