第二条（検討等）
In the application of the provisions of Article 28-2 of the Act on Health and Medical Services for the Elderly as amended by Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Elderly Health Act"), in the case where there is a risk that the amount of the co-payment will become an excessive burden in consideration of the ability of the elderly to bear it, etc., the way in which the amount of the co-payment is to be revised is to be reviewed comprehensively, and necessary measures are to be taken based on the results.
第一条の規定による改正後の老人保健法（以下「新老健法」という。）第二十八条の二の規定の適用に当たって、一部負担金の額が老人の負担能力等を考慮して過大な負担になるおそれが生ずる場合においては、一部負担金の額の改定措置の在り方について総合的に検討が加えられ、その結果に基づき、必要な措置が講ぜられるべきものとする。
In addition to what is prescribed in the preceding paragraph, with regard to the system of health and medical services for the elderly under the Act on Health and Medical Services for the Elderly, the way in which benefits and the bearing of expenses should be arranged is to be reviewed in light of the purpose of that system, taking into consideration the status of implementation of the system after the enforcement of this Act, trends in medical expenses for the elderly, changes in socioeconomic conditions, etc.
前項に規定するもののほか、老人保健法による老人保健制度については、老人保健制度の目的を踏まえ、この法律の施行後の老人保健制度の実施状況、老人医療費の動向、社会経済情勢の推移等を勘案し、給付及び費用の負担の在り方について検討が加えられるべきものとする。
