第九条
The amount of the estimated medical expense contribution for fiscal year 1987 pertaining to an Insurer that falls under the requirements specified by Ministry of Health and Welfare Order as an Insurer for which the amount (hereinafter in this paragraph referred to as the "amount of increase") obtained by deducting, from the amount set forth in item (i) (hereinafter in this paragraph referred to as the "amount equivalent to the estimated contribution"), the amount set forth in item (ii) is expected to become extremely large is, notwithstanding Article 6 of the Supplementary Provisions, to be the amount obtained by deducting a portion of the amount of increase pertaining to that Insurer, as specified by Ministry of Health and Welfare Order, from the amount equivalent to the estimated contribution pertaining to that Insurer.

次に掲げる額の合計額の十分の七に相当する額
an amount equivalent to 10/12 of the sum total of the amounts obtained by multiplying the amount calculated as specified by Ministry of Health and Welfare Order as the estimated amount of expenses required for medical care (including payment of medical expenses), the payment of specified medical expenses (including payment of medical expenses) and the payment of medical expenses for health care facilities for the elderly to participants, etc. aged 70 or older pertaining to the Insurer concerned, which a municipality is to bear in fiscal year 1987 (referred to as "fiscal 1987 estimated elderly medical expenses" in (b)), by each of the following rates;
市町村が昭和六十二年度において支弁する当該保険者に係る七十歳以上の加入者等に対する医療（医療費の支給を含む。）、特定療養費の支給（医療費の支給を含む。）及び老人保健施設療養費の支給に要する費用の見込額として厚生省令で定めるところにより算定される額（ロにおいて「昭和六十二年度老人医療費見込額」という。）にそれぞれ次に掲げる率を乗じて得た額の合計額の十二分の十に相当する額
the rate obtained by deducting the participant apportionment rate prescribed in (2) from 1;
一から（２）に規定する加入者按分率を控除して得た率
the rate obtained by multiplying the participant apportionment rate under Article 55, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the Former Elderly Health Act for fiscal year 1986 by the estimated participant adjustment rate under Article 55, paragraph (3) of the New Elderly Health Act for fiscal year 1987;
昭和六十一年度に係る旧老健法第五十五条第一項第二号の加入者按分率に昭和六十二年度に係る新老健法第五十五条第三項の概算加入者調整率を乗じて得た率
an amount equivalent to 2/12 of the sum total of the following amounts:
次に掲げる額の合計額の十二分の二に相当する額
the amount obtained by multiplying the fiscal 1987 estimated elderly medical expenses by 20 percent;
昭和六十二年度老人医療費見込額に百分の二十を乗じて得た額
the amount obtained by multiplying the amount equivalent to 80 percent of the fiscal 1987 estimated elderly medical expenses (excluding, for an Insurer for which the rate obtained by dividing the amount calculated as specified by Ministry of Health and Welfare Order as the fiscal 1987 estimated elderly medical expenses per participant, etc. aged 70 or older pertaining to the Insurer by the amount calculated as specified by Ministry of Health and Welfare Order as the average of the fiscal 1987 estimated elderly medical expenses per participant, etc. aged 70 or older pertaining to all Insurers (hereinafter in this item referred to as the "average estimated elderly medical expenses per person") exceeds the rate specified by the Cabinet Order referred to in Article 6, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the Supplementary Provisions for fiscal year 1987, the amount calculated as specified by Ministry of Health and Welfare Order as the portion exceeding the amount obtained by multiplying the average estimated elderly medical expenses per person by that rate specified by Cabinet Order (referred to as "estimated medical expenses outside adjustment" in (3))) by the estimated participant adjustment rate under Article 55, paragraph (3) of the New Elderly Health Act for fiscal year 1987;
昭和六十二年度老人医療費見込額（当該保険者に係る七十歳以上の加入者等一人当たりの昭和六十二年度老人医療費見込額として厚生省令で定めるところにより算定される額をすべての保険者に係る七十歳以上の加入者等一人当たりの昭和六十二年度老人医療費見込額の平均額として厚生省令で定めるところにより算定される額（以下この号において「平均一人当たり老人医療費見込額」という。）で除して得た率が、昭和六十二年度に係る附則第六条第一項第二号の政令で定める率を超える保険者にあつては、平均一人当たり老人医療費見込額に当該政令で定める率を乗じて得た額を超える部分として厚生省令で定めるところにより算定される額（（３）において「調整対象外医療費見込額」という。）を除く。）の百分の八十に相当する額に昭和六十二年度に係る新老健法第五十五条第三項の概算加入者調整率を乗じて得た額
the amount obtained by multiplying the estimated medical expenses outside adjustment pertaining to the Insurer concerned by 80 percent.
当該保険者に係る調整対象外医療費見込額に百分の八十を乗じて得た額
The provisions of the preceding paragraph apply mutatis mutandis to the fixed medical expense contribution for fiscal year 1987. In this case, the phrase "amount equivalent to the estimated contribution" in that paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "amount equivalent to the fixed contribution"; the phrase "is expected to become extremely large" with "was extremely large"; the phrase "estimated medical expense contribution" with "fixed medical expense contribution"; the phrase "Article 6 of the Supplementary Provisions" with "Article 7 of the Supplementary Provisions"; the phrase "is to bear" with "bore"; the phrase "the amount calculated as specified by Ministry of Health and Welfare Order as the estimated amount of expenses" with "the amount of expenses"; the phrase "fiscal 1987 estimated elderly medical expenses" with "fiscal 1987 elderly medical expenses"; the phrase "estimated participant adjustment rate under Article 55, paragraph (3) of the New Elderly Health Act" with "fixed participant adjustment rate under Article 56, paragraph (2) of the New Elderly Health Act"; the phrase "average estimated elderly medical expenses per person" with "average elderly medical expenses per person"; and the phrase "estimated medical expenses outside adjustment" with "medical expenses outside adjustment".
前項の規定は、昭和六十二年度の確定医療費拠出金について準用する。この場合において、同項中「概算拠出金相当額」とあるのは「確定拠出金相当額」と、「多額になると見込まれる」とあるのは「多額であつた」と、「概算医療費拠出金」とあるのは「確定医療費拠出金」と、「附則第六条の」とあるのは「附則第七条の」と、「支弁する」とあるのは「支弁した」と、「費用の見込額として厚生省令で定めるところにより算定される額」とあるのは「費用の額」と、「昭和六十二年度老人医療費見込額」とあるのは「昭和六十二年度老人医療費額」と、「新老健法第五十五条第三項の概算加入者調整率」とあるのは「新老健法第五十六条第二項の確定加入者調整率」と、「平均一人当たり老人医療費見込額」とあるのは「平均一人当たり老人医療費額」と、「調整対象外医療費見込額」とあるのは「調整対象外医療費額」と読み替えるものとする。
