Supplementary Provisions, Article 13, paragraph (2), item (ii)
旧入管法別表第一の二の表の技能実習の在留資格をもって本邦に在留する者（当該在留資格に伴う在留期間が施行日から起算して三月を経過する日までの間に満了する者に限る。）からされた旧入管法第二十一条第二項の規定による在留期間の更新の申請であって、この法律の施行の際、同条第三項の規定による許可をするかどうかの処分がされていないもの
an application for an extension of the period of stay pursuant to the provisions of Article 21, paragraph (2) of the Former Immigration Control Act, filed by a person residing in Japan with the status of residence of "Technical Intern Training" in Appended Table I (2) of the Former Immigration Control Act (limited to a person whose period of stay accompanying that status of residence expires by the day on which 3 months have elapsed from the Effective Date), for which no disposition as to whether to grant permission pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (3) of the same Article has been made at the time this Act comes into effect.
