Supplementary Provisions, Article 7
第七条
A foreign national who is actually residing with the status of residence of "Designated Activities" in Appended Table I (5) of the Act (limited to one for which activities for the purpose of technical intern training have been designated) at the time this Ministerial Order comes into effect is deemed to be a technical intern trainee residing in Japan with the status of residence of "Technical Intern Training" (limited to one pertaining to item (ii), (a) or (b) of the right-hand column under "Technical Intern Training" of the Appended Table I (2) of the Act) for the purpose of applying, in the table of the New Ministerial Order for Criteria, items (xi) and (xviii) of the right-hand column of the entry for the activities listed in item (i), (a) of the right-hand column under "Technical Intern Training" of the Appended Table I (2) of the Act; item (xvi) and items (xxiv) through (xxix) of the right-hand column of the entry for the activities listed in item (i), (b) of the right-hand column under "Technical Intern Training" of the Appended Table I (2) of the Act; and item (x) of the right-hand column of the entry for the activities listed in the right-hand column under "Trainee" of the Appended Table I (4) of the Act.
