Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect on the dates specified in those items:
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions adding two Articles after Article 13, the provisions amending Article 14-2, paragraph (1), the provisions adding an Article after that Article, the provisions amending Article 15, paragraph (3), the provisions adding a paragraph to Article 17, the provisions amending Article 29, paragraph (7), and the provisions amending Article 39-10, and the provisions amending Article 4, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions (limited to the part pertaining to subsidiaries and related companies): October 1, 2002;
the provisions amending Article 38, paragraph (1), the provisions amending Article 43, paragraphs (1) and (2) and the provisions making Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions into Article 6 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions amending Article 4, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions (excluding the part pertaining to subsidiaries and related companies), the provisions making Article 4 of the Supplementary Provisions into Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions amending Article 3, paragraph (5) of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions making Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions into Article 4 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions adding an Article after Article 2 of the Supplementary Provisions, and the provisions of Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions: April 1, 2004.
