Supplementary Provisions, Article 7Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People
第七条（高齢者の医療の確保に関する法律の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
A national plan for the optimization of medical expenses (meaning the national plan for the optimization of medical expenses prescribed in Article 8, paragraph (1) of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People; the same applies hereinafter in this Article) established pursuant to the provisions of Article 8 of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People as it stood before the amendment by the provisions of Article 6 (limited to the amending provisions set forth in that item; the same applies hereinafter in this Article) (referred to as the "item (i) Pre-amendment Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act" in the following Article) before the date of enforcement of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (i) of the Supplementary Provisions (hereinafter referred to in this Article and the following Article as the "item (i) Effective Date") is deemed, during the period from the item (i) Effective Date until March 31, 2024, to be a national plan for the optimization of medical expenses established pursuant to the provisions of Article 8 of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People as amended by the provisions of Article 6 (referred to as the "item (i) Amended Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act" in the following Article).
附則第一条第一号に掲げる規定の施行の日（以下この条及び次条において「第一号施行日」という。）前に第六条の規定（同号に掲げる改正規定に限る。以下この条において同じ。）による改正前の高齢者の医療の確保に関する法律（次条において「第一号改正前高確法」という。）第八条の規定により定められた全国医療費適正化計画（高齢者の医療の確保に関する法律第八条第一項に規定する全国医療費適正化計画をいう。以下この条において同じ。）は、第一号施行日から令和六年三月三十一日までの間は、第六条の規定による改正後の高齢者の医療の確保に関する法律（次条において「第一号改正後高確法」という。）第八条の規定により定められた全国医療費適正化計画とみなす。
