Supplementary Provisions, Article 7Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People
第七条（高齢者の医療の確保に関する法律の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The provisions of Article 67, paragraph (1) of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People as amended by Article 5 (hereinafter referred to in this Article as the "Revised Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act") apply respectively to the old-old medical care benefit under the provisions of the Revised Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act pertaining to medical care, provision of drugs or medical treatment, or home-nursing provided on or after the date of enforcement of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iv) of the Supplementary Provisions (hereinafter referred to as the "item (iv) Effective Date"), and the provisions then in force continue to govern respectively the old-old medical care benefit under the provisions of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People as it stood before the amendment by Article 5 (referred to as the "Former Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act" in the following paragraph) pertaining to medical care, provision of drugs or medical treatment, or home-nursing provided before the item (iv) Effective Date.
The provisions of Article 93 of the Revised Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act apply to expenses required for the old-old medical care benefit under the provisions of the Revised Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act provided on or after the item (iv) Effective Date, and the provisions then in force continue to govern expenses required for the old-old medical care benefit under the provisions of the Former Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act provided before the item (iv) Effective Date.
