第二条（経過措置）
A foreign national who, before the date of enforcement of this Ministerial Order or on or after that date, was staying in Japan with the status of residence in the left-hand column of the Appended Table I(5) of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act as it was before the amendment by the Act Partially Amending the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (Act No. 74 of 2014; hereinafter referred to as the "Amending Act") (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Act") as a person who engages in any of the activities set out in the following items among the activities listed in the right-hand column of that table (limited to the part pertaining to (d)) is deemed, for the purpose of the application of Article 2, paragraph (1), item (i), to be the person set out in the respective item.
この省令の施行の日前又はこの省令の施行の日以後に出入国管理及び難民認定法の一部を改正する法律（平成二十六年法律第七十四号。以下「改正法」という。）による改正前の出入国管理及び難民認定法（以下「旧法」という。）別表第一の五の表の下欄（ニに係る部分に限る。）に掲げる活動のうち次の各号に掲げるものを行う者としての同表の上欄の在留資格をもって本邦に在留していた外国人は、第二条第一項第一号の適用については、それぞれ当該各号に掲げる者とみなす。

改正法附則第三条第五項第一号に掲げる活動 高度専門職の在留資格（法別表第一の二の表の高度専門職の項の下欄第一号イに係るものに限る。）をもって本邦に在留していた外国人
The activity set out in Article 3, paragraph (5), item (ii) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Amending Act: a foreign national who was staying in Japan with the status of residence of Highly Skilled Professional (limited to those pertaining to item (i), (b) in the right-hand column of the entry for Highly Skilled Professional in the Appended Table I(2) of the Act)
改正法附則第三条第五項第二号に掲げる活動 高度専門職の在留資格（法別表第一の二の表の高度専門職の項の下欄第一号ロに係るものに限る。）をもって本邦に在留していた外国人
The activity set out in Article 3, paragraph (5), item (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Amending Act: a foreign national who was staying in Japan with the status of residence of Highly Skilled Professional (limited to those pertaining to item (i), (c) in the right-hand column of the entry for Highly Skilled Professional in the Appended Table I(2) of the Act)
改正法附則第三条第五項第三号に掲げる活動 高度専門職の在留資格（法別表第一の二の表の高度専門職の項の下欄第一号ハに係るものに限る。）をもって本邦に在留していた外国人
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3
第三条
With regard to the application of Article 2, paragraph (1), item (ii) to a foreign national who, before the date of enforcement of this Ministerial Order or on or after that date, was staying in Japan with the status of residence in the left-hand column of the Appended Table I(5) of the Former Act as a person who engages in any of the activities listed in the items of Article 3, paragraph (5) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Amending Act among the activities listed in the right-hand column of that table (limited to the part pertaining to (d)), the period during which the foreign national was staying in Japan with that status of residence and engaged in the activity listed in the relevant item is to be included.
この省令の施行の日前又はこの省令の施行の日以後に旧法別表第一の五の表の下欄（ニに係る部分に限る。）に掲げる活動のうち改正法附則第三条第五項各号に掲げるものを行う者としての同表の上欄の在留資格をもって本邦に在留していた外国人に対する第二条第一項第二号の適用については、当該在留資格をもって本邦に在留して当該各号に掲げる活動を行っていた期間を算入するものとする。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 4
第四条
With regard to the issuance of a certificate of eligibility for status of residence (meaning the certificate prescribed in Article 7-2 of the Act) pursuant to the provisions of Article 4 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Amending Act, the provisions of Article 1 apply even before the date of enforcement of this Ministerial Order.
