Article 20Notification to the Minister of Justice Concerning the Preparation of Provisional Certificates of Residence
第二十条（仮住民票の作成に係る法務大臣への通知）
When the mayor of a municipality has prepared a provisional certificate of residence prescribed in Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Residential Basic Book Act (Act No. 77 of 2009), the mayor is to notify the Minister of Justice of that fact and of the following matters concerning the foreign national to whom that provisional certificate of residence relates:
市町村の長は、住民基本台帳法の一部を改正する法律（平成二十一年法律第七十七号）附則第三条第一項に規定する仮住民票を作成したときは、その旨及び当該仮住民票に係る外国人に係る次に掲げる事項を法務大臣に通知するものとする。
the name, date of birth, sex, country of nationality or the region prescribed in Article 2, item (v), (b) of the Immigration Control Act, and address;
氏名、生年月日、性別、国籍の属する国又は入管法第二条第五号ロに規定する地域及び住所
the registration number of the alien registration certificate prescribed in the former Alien Registration Act.
旧外国人登録法に規定する外国人登録証明書の登録番号
The notification under the preceding paragraph is to be made by sending an electromagnetic recording medium (meaning a recording medium relating to an electromagnetic record).
前項の通知は、電磁的記録媒体（電磁的記録に係る記録媒体をいう。）を送付することによって行うものとする。
