第二項
The provisions of Article 39, paragraph (7) of the new Labor Standards Act do not apply to a period, before the effective date, of childcare leave prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (1) of the Act on Childcare Leave, Etc. (Act No. 76 of 1991).
施行日前の育児休業等に関する法律（平成三年法律第七十六号）第二条第一項に規定する育児休業をした期間については、新労働基準法第三十九条第七項の規定は、適用しない。
