The provisions then in force continue to govern, until the day on which 3 months have elapsed from the Effective Date (or, for a person who was issued a certificate pursuant to the provisions of Article 7-2, paragraph (1) of the Former Immigration Control Act in the cases where the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of item (ii) of the preceding paragraph, from the date of that issuance), dispositions on applications for landing set forth in Article 6, paragraph (2) of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act as amended by the provisions of the preceding Article, filed on or after the Effective Date by a person who was issued a certificate pursuant to the provisions of Article 7-2, paragraph (1) of the Former Immigration Control Act before the Effective Date for the purpose of engaging in former Technical Intern Training (i) activities in Japan, or by a person who was issued a certificate pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (1) of the same Article in the cases where the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of item (ii) of the preceding paragraph.
