第二条（検討）
The government, from the perspective of providing services suited to the condition of residents, is to review the basic way in which Long-Term Care Health Facilities prescribed in Article 8, paragraph (25) of the Long-Term Care Insurance Act and Facilities Covered by Public Aid Providing Long-Term Care to the Elderly prescribed in paragraph (24) of that Article ought to be, and the way in which medical care is provided to the residents of these facilities, and at the same time is to examine the standards for the equipment and operation of Facilities Covered by Long-Term Care Insurance, etc. and the way in which the burden on users ought to be, etc., take necessary measures based on the results, and endeavor to support the development of a system for providing appropriate health and medical services and welfare services in communities.
政府は、入所者の状態に応じてふさわしいサービスを提供する観点から、介護保険法第八条第二十五項に規定する介護老人保健施設及び同条第二十四項に規定する介護老人福祉施設の基本的な在り方並びにこれらの施設の入所者に対する医療の提供の在り方の見直しを検討するとともに、介護保険施設等の設備及び運営に関する基準並びに利用者負担の在り方等について検討を加え、その結果に基づいて必要な措置を講ずるとともに、地域における適切な保健医療サービス及び福祉サービスの提供体制の整備の支援に努めるものとする。
