If, at the time the provisions set forth in item (i) of the preceding Article come into effect, a person residing with a former status of residence has been granted the permission under Article 19, paragraph (2) of the Former Act, that permission is deemed to be the permission under Article 19, paragraph (2) of the New Act granted with regard to the new status of residence that is deemed pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
