第四条
A foreign national who, at the time this Ministerial Order comes into effect, is residing with the status of residence of "Designated Activities" in the Appended Table I (5) of the Act (limited to a person for whom activities for the purpose of technical intern training have been designated) is deemed, for the purpose of the application of Article 1, item (xvii) and Article 2, items (viii) and (xxviii), to be residing in Japan with the status of residence of "Technical Intern Training" (limited to that pertaining to item (ii), sub-item (a) or (b) of the right-hand column in the row for "Technical Intern Training" in the Appended Table I (2) of the Act).
この省令の施行の際現に法別表第一の五の表の特定活動の在留資格（技能実習を目的とする活動を指定されたものに限る。）をもって在留する外国人は、第一条第十七号並びに第二条第八号及び第二十八号の適用については、技能実習の在留資格（法別表第一の二の表の技能実習の項の下欄第二号イ又はロに係るものに限る。）をもって本邦に在留するものとみなす。
