Universities may organize special courses targeted at persons other than students of the relevant university, and they may issue a certificate to persons who have completed those courses, as testament to the fact of completion, as provided for by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
大学は、文部科学大臣の定めるところにより、当該大学の学生以外の者を対象とした特別の課程を編成し、これを修了した者に対し、修了の事実を証する証明書を交付することができる。
