- Specified Skilled Worker (ii) is open in eleven of them: building cleaning, industrial products manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding and ship machinery industry, automobile maintenance, aviation, accommodation, agriculture, fisheries, food and beverage manufacturing, and food service. - The skill item (i) requires — one needing a considerable degree of knowledge or experience — and the high-level skill (熟練した技能) item (ii) requires are, in each field, skills that meet the level the field-specific operation policy (分野別運用方針) for that field sets, in line with the basic policy (基本方針). Special rules and exceptions (1)
- Someone already working on Specified Skilled Worker in a field that an amendment of this Order in 2022 or in 2024 merged or renamed is treated as designated in the field that replaced it, and any permission they held for activities outside their status (資格外活動) carries over, conditions included.(Suppl.
