With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 84-3 of the Public Assistance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 14 (limited to the amending provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions) during the period from the item (iii) Effective Date to the day before the item (iv) Effective Date, the phrase "Act on Social Welfare for the Elderly" in that Article is deemed to be replaced with "Act on Social Welfare for the Elderly (Act No. 133 of 1963)", and the phrase "Article 8, paragraph (27)" is deemed to be replaced with "Article 8, paragraph (26)".
第三号施行日から第四号施行日の前日までの間における第十四条の規定（附則第一条第三号に掲げる改正規定に限る。）による改正後の生活保護法第八十四条の三の規定の適用については、同条中「老人福祉法」とあるのは「老人福祉法（昭和三十八年法律第百三十三号）」と、「第八条第二十七項」とあるのは「第八条第二十六項」とする。
