A person who is deemed to be residing with the status of residence of "Artist" pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions may, only until the period prescribed in the second sentence of that paragraph expires, engage in, in addition to the activities set forth in the right-hand column under "Artist" of Appended Table I (1) of the New Act, the activities set forth in the right-hand column under "Researcher" of Appended Table I (2) of the New Act and the activities set forth in the right-hand column under "Cultural Activities" of Appended Table I (3) of the New Act.
