### 第一条（施行期日） — Effective Date

**第一項**  この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the days specified in those items.

**第一項**  第一条の規定による改正後の不正競争防止法（以下この条において「新不競法」という。）第三条から第五条まで、第十四条及び第十五条第二項の規定は、この法律の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）前に次の各号に掲げる不正競争に相当する行為により取得した新不競法第二条第七項の規定により新たに限定提供データとなる情報（以下この項において「新限定提供データ」という。）に係る当該各号に定める不正競争であって施行日以後に行われるもの及び施行日前に開始した新限定提供データに係る同条第一項第十四号に掲げる不正競争（限定提供データを使用する行為に限る。）に相当する行為を施行日以後も継続する行為については、適用しない。

The provisions of Articles 3 through 5, Article 14 and Article 15, paragraph (2) of the Unfair Competition Prevention Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter in this Article referred to as the "New Unfair Competition Prevention Act") do not apply to the unfair competition specified in each of the following items that is committed on or after the day of enforcement of this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date") and that relates to information that newly becomes shared data with limited access pursuant to the provisions of Article 2, paragraph (7) of the New Unfair Competition Prevention Act (hereinafter in this paragraph referred to as "new shared data with limited access") and was acquired before the Effective Date through an act corresponding to the unfair competition set forth in that item, and to an act of continuing on or after the Effective Date an act that was commenced before the Effective Date and that corresponds to the unfair competition set forth in paragraph (1), item (xiv) of that Article (limited to an act of using shared data with limited access) relating to new shared data with limited access.
