**第一項** この法律は、公布の日から起算して三年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、第一条中出入国管理及び難民認定法（以下「入管法」という。）第二条の三の改正規定、入管法第二条の四の改正規定及び入管法第六十九条の二第一項ただし書の改正規定並びに次条から附則第五条まで並びに附則第十五条、第二十三条及び第二十四条第四項の規定は、公布の日から施行する。

This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 3 years from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provision in Article 1 amending Article 2-3 of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Immigration Control Act"), the provision amending Article 2-4 of the Immigration Control Act and the provision amending the proviso to Article 69-2, paragraph (1) of the Immigration Control Act, and the provisions of the following Article through Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions and Article 15, Article 23 and Article 24, paragraph (4) of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect as of the date of promulgation.
