**第一項**  新法第十条第二項各号及び別表第一の規定は、施行日以後に退職した者に係る退職金について適用し、同日前に退職した者に係る退職金については、なお従前の例による。

The provisions of the items of Article 10, paragraph (2) and Appended Table 1 of the New Act apply to retirement allowances for persons who retire on or after the Effective Date, and the provisions then in force continue to govern retirement allowances for persons who retire before that date.
